One songwriter from June's round of the Song of the Year
(www.songoftheyear.com) songwriting contest will get a
free professional video. The song that will be used in the
video will be selected by the Song of the Year judging panel.
Sonar One Productions will fly you to Los Angeles where you
will have access to the same studios where many of the
videos you have seen on television have been shot. To get
a chance to have your song selected, you must enter your
song into the contest by June 30th. For more information on

for the video giveaway. Paid flight expenses will only include

This is also the date that all of May's critiques should be

6 Finger Freddy is back in business! We are extremely excited to be a group again. We never had to break up, just had to take a break. We are one member down. Roy reese will no longer be with us, but instead of hiring an unfamiliar face, I (Kevin Buttry) have assumed the position of lead vocalist as well as trying to mess with everything else made available to me.  

So, I (along with the rest of the boys) are proud to announce that soon, you will see a new and improved bunch of guys. Not only in our show, but as people as well. We all have made changes in our lives and are out to have the most fun a band could ever have.  

We are planning a concert for our hometown fans at The American Legion in which I am gonna make my debut as a promoter as well. Speaking of which, I need a opener. If your band would be remotely interested, please let me know. We will be fair and just in all dealings, for we want a fabulous show!  

We have also been hard at work on our new website. It isn't completely finished, nor do I have a stand alone domain, but I would love it if you guys would drop in and let everyone know what you think.  

We have 2 new singles posted up there, and hopefully they are worthy enough to start a buzz. Feel free to download them. I swear we won't pull a Metallica! LOL  

Anyways,... couldn't contain myself any longer. It is GOOD to be back!
