Band members are Andrew Adkins (vocals, guitar), Rodney Russell (drums/ percussion), Daryl Dasher (bass, vocals).

The band's sound, dubbed by some as "blues/groove" and"neo-psychedelic, " is a melting pot of countless musical influences. Touches of late 1960's Brit-Rock, 70's rock 'n' roll, Motown soul, Chicago and Delta Blues, old-school country and improvisational jazz are all tied together by an infectious 3-piece groove that only this combination of musicians can produce, resulting in a unique sound all their own.

Following in the footsteps of fellow Tennesseans and mainstream success story, Mt. Juliet's Kings of Leon, Mellow Down Easy is building a name for themselves in the Southeast and North-Central United States as well as parts of Europe. Recently signed to a promotional agreement with Mersey, England-based Chromium Records, Mellow Down Easy has gained airplay and attention with"Last Time (I Got a Feeling)." This song is also included on Chromium's"Innovation," a compilation album featuring up-and-coming artists from around the world.
