With this new record Berger/Schneider of Dresden/Germany did the next step in reducing their music and to focus on their goal to create unique minimalistic rock.

Based on a characteristic hi-hat-snare-bassdrum groove most of gaffas songs are created with an extreme dynamic range. Slow tempo songs from whispering quiet to explosive guitar eruptions. Their music always has a certain melancholic atmosphere and is played and produced raw and archaic.

There are no usual songstructures, choruses are used as small parts of verses and divided into bits and pieces which sometimes only show up once.

Berger and Schneider are both well known and respected musicians around Germany´s underground scene. Both played around Europe and the United States during the last decade with their former bands “Need a new drug” and “Les Hommes qui Wear Espandrillos”.

At the moment the band is finishing work for their next cd that will be released in January 2006.
