Chokeslam is a
Rebel Metal Band from Chattanooga, Tennessee. Expect in your face, down
your throat stomping tunes and high-energy live shows. Extra Tasty Spine
cracking Guitar, Double- Bass Grooves, Thunderous Running Bass, and Throat-
Crushing Vocals set Chokeslam above the rest. Chokeslam formed
in 1997. All members have been playing in bands, writing, recording, touring,
and practicing for over twenty years each. From Milwaukee to Memphis, Chokeslam
belongs on Ozzfest. Chokeslam has a huge following in Chattanooga
and throughout Tennessee. Chokeslam has been compared to such acts
as Mudvayne, Slipknot, Black Label Society, Anthrax, Flotsam and Jetsam,
Pantera, Overkill, and Rob Zombie.
Chokeslam is heavily involved in writing, recording, and performing
heavy metal music. Instead of having to work day jobs to support our music
career, Chokeslam would like for our music to support us. We are
interested in traveling throughout the Southeast and America to support
our efforts.
