In an attempt to separate themselves from a heaving number of indistinguishable rock bands, The Brandon Lowery Band has developed a persona that not only allows them to remain "rock", but also appeal to a wider variety of listeners. When watching a band set up, you make assumptions about their sound, attitude, and style. BLB is much more than rock. Thick, clear guitar runs and hook harmonies area backed up by a rhythm section that does more than just act as a backbone—it sends the music over the edge of rock. What results is active and movable music that appeals to the high-energy heads and those that appreciate something they can sing along to. The Brandon Lowery Band formed from guitarists/vocalist Brandon Lowery (formerly of MiniVoid/Off Centre). After playing a few shows all acoustic, he had the idea of forming an entire band and asked Brad Gaddy (formerly of Throwing Myself) to fill in on drums. Brad jumped in, and Lee White (the seasoned bass player from Einstein's Dream) came in proudly on bass. Any new band has to find their style. After simply adding drums, bass, and amazing lead guitar Tim McGill (formerly Code Adam) to songs that already existed, The Brandon Lowery Band started writing new music knowing there would be a rhythm section there to add that punch. What has resulted is a high-energy, rock experiment that covers all areas of emotion.
